COmmons at qcad
Redesigning the QCAD Library is a project focused on applying universal design principles to create an inclusive and accessible learning environment for all students. The redesign movesbeyond aesthetics and furniture upgrades, rethinking how the library functions, feels, and supports users throughout the day. Key features include wide circulation paths, clear zoning, and flexible seating that respond to diverse abilities, sensory needs, and learning preferences. The project emphasises dignity and comfort, ensuring that students do not need to adapt to the space instead, the space adapts to them.

Earp Bros Showroom is a project where I reimagined the Doggett Street showroom as an immersive, biophilic environment. Inspired by Moroccan outdoor spas, I used natural materials, intricate patterns, and soft colours to create a culturally rich and inviting atmosphere. My design highlights the craftsmanship and heritage of Earp Bros’ main tile categories ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, and mosaics through dynamic, multi-sensory displays. I incorporated ambient soundscapes, fragrant plants, and natural light to emphasise the sensory qualities of the tiles, while interactive design stations encourage visitors to experiment with combinations. By integrating sustainable finishes and energy-efficient lighting, I aimed to create a showroom that not only showcases the products but also inspires visitors to imagine how these materials couldtransform their own spaces.

luxus escape pixel hotel
Luxus Escape Hotel is a project where I reimagined Brisbane’s historic Boggo Road Gaol as an immersive lodging experience that blends heritage with adventure. My design preserves the gaol’s imposing stone walls and Gothic architectural features while introducing contemporary elements to create a balance between authenticity and comfort. Guests would access their roomsthrough escape room challenges inspired by real-life stories of inmates, such as bushranger Jack McFarlane, encouraging teamwork and problem-solving. Beyond accommodation, I envisioned the hotel as a community hub offering educational programs and events that explore the site’s history and spark dialogue about justice and rehabilitation. By merging the gaol’s haunting past with interactive, participatory design, I aimed to create a destination that is both culturally meaningful and unforgettable.
